Sherri Ehrlich, AKA as Miss Sherri is an innovative and fun leader in music education, she has been teaching since 1994. Sherri is the founder and director of Honey Child Music, Academy a music school which has taught thousands of children, infants through teens, in day care centers, preschools and elementary schools as well as a variety of Honey Child Music locations since 1994. Sherri is a NJ certified Pre-K through 3rd grade teacher with numerous Early childhood Music Certifications. Sherri & her team believe that music decreases stress and increases energy, boosts a sense of well-being for everyone. Music also creates a sense of community, fosters acts of kindness and co-operation. Music, unlike other activities, provides an instant connection with most children.
Sherri’s 6 CD’s for children have been awarded several prestigious Awards, including, iParenting Media Awards, Adding Wisdom Award as well as her CD “Jelly Belly Boogaloo” being recommended by “Parenting Magazine” for 3-5 year olds in their Mom tested buying guide.
Sherri is a member of The National Association for Music Education and the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association. Sherri is a music specialist, TV host of her own “Miss Sherri Live Show” and teaches Early Childhood Classes, Grades Pre K through 3rd Grade as well as musical enrichment programs in the comfort and safety of your Home Sweet Home!

Music and movement ignites all areas of child creative development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music and movement during early development helps them learn sounds, meanings of words, new languages, mathematics, history, musical concepts or even science because, anything that can be articulated can be learned! The sky is the limit according to research; exposure to music and movement instruction has been shown to improve children's memory, cognitive development, overall learning skills and expressive ability. ... It promotes group learning, practicing social skills such as turn-taking and cooperation.
